-How would ACT114A affect you?
-Does it really matter?
-Should you be concerned?
As an internet user such as I, Act 114A will certainly affect me in a way such that I cannot access to the social network. This is because, social network is the easiest way to spread all different kinds of news where we can get easily. Besides, if the internet were to really be 'blackout', I can't get news updates. For example, I have an online group on Facebook where most of the time the lecturers update the their status. To me, Act 114A is a really serious matter. I do realised that if it is to be legally implemented, we will have a real tough time to access to information.

The internet black out day huh? A very interesting term for that. I agreed that it effects the social networks a lot, such as us, discussing the topic here, at the blog might cause everyone in trouble as well if the act is there.
ReplyDeleteyes, the people of this amendment will significantly affect the legal regulation of Internet publications, not only us comment in Facebook... including news reports, blog and social media interaction. The amendment will allow the prosecution is responsible for Internet publishing
ReplyDeleteI believe most people do not know the Act 114A or are not bothered about it. Besides that, it is not just about the updates that we are losing out as some people do post facts on the internet. No offence to our government, but it seems like Act 114A is like an internet ISA. if recalled correctly, the "internet blackout day" is an event to anti Act 114A.
ReplyDeletelol, sorry.
